Thanks to Covid-19 and certain equipment shortages along the East Coast of the US, I’m obsessed with masks and other PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during this bizarre moment in human history.

To protect my family and loved ones around us, I’ve created a number of masks – initially simply using found objects around the house (my favorite one was a baby onesie) – eventually evolving to cut-and-sew masks and (as of today) 3D-printed masks with HEPA filters. I’m especially excited about the “Philadelphia Mask” conceived of by Bob Sponsler.
